George and I traveled south though the Everglades to the Florida Keys. We stayed about half way down the Keys in order to travel both ways for exploration. I did not expect the huge, expensive houses and as much population as we found. Key West was a much larger city than we expected as well as a cruise ship stop. It has changed greatly since Hemmingway's day. We also renewed friendship with a couple of old friends living on a boat in Islamorada.
